Menu Plan Monday

Every Monday, I'm an Organizing Junkie hosts Menu Plan Monday, which is just what I need, since I tend to make up my mind at the last minute and go to the grocery store every day. Aaaand I shop on Mondays anyway because I like to do my Grocery Game coupon shopping that day.

So here is the menu for this week:

Monday: Tacos
Tuesday: Salmon with Brown Sugar Pepper Blend (from Wegman's)
Wednesday: Breakfast Night
Thursday: Chicken Tettrazini (did I spell that correctly? I'm too lazy to look it up)
Friday: Leftovers

Hmmmmm, that was really easy. Why didn't I do this before? :-) Hope you all had a nice holiday weekend!

  2. Hey there girlfriend!

Did you have a great weekend? Are your parents still there?

That menu idea is great. I should do that.

I've seen that grocery game on other people's blogs....do you save a lot of money? I should check it out!

Remember the comment you made about my toile bedskirt? I'll put a picture of my headboard on my site. My mom made a matching slipcover (I wish I could sew, but I'd be a menace with a sewing machine.) for a $10 garage sale headboard.

    Have a great day!

  5. Sounds like a gret idea, and you have a great menu! I like the sound of "breakfast night"! It seems to be everyone's favorite meal in my house these days!

  8. Good morning, Heather! To put up a banner, you need to save your banner image to a picture-hosting service. Then you type in the url for your banner into where your blog's title is. =)

  9. I use the Grocery Game as well. I love it. My grocery list store was Jewel and they have all closed in Wisconsin. I still use CVS & Walgreen's, but when you are trying to eat healthy the food you can get at either of those is VERY limited.

I am using what I learned from my Jewel list to shop at my regular grocery store. My savings percentage isn't as high, but that is because the shelf price isn't as high as at Jewel. Bottom line is I am getting more for less money and that's what really matters to me.

  10. I'll still have to "just go to the grocery store" a couple of times this week because I'm letting the boys cook and they haven't made their minds up yet.
