The Face of a Naughty Puppy?

Does this look like the face of a naughty dog to you?

The answer is . . .

Yes!

We recently went on vacation for a week, and this is how Corgi #2 entertained himself.

So proud of his work, too.

What possessed me to get another puppy?
By the way, this is my brand-new-great-deal-free-shipping-on-clearance-matches-my-room-perfectly-Pottery-Barn-knockoff-I'll-never-want-another-rug rug.
Oh well . . .

~"And why are you anxious about what to wear? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin. And yet I say to you, that even Solomon in all his glory is not arrayed like one of these." - Matthew 6:28-29

  1. That is one gorgeous rug - gotta love those puppies, huh? I bet you can fix it or rig it, then put that corner towards the back, and still get years of use out of it.

  2. Hi there. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier today. Come again anytime...you're always welcome. I've enjoyed my visit here to your blog and will come again later when I have a little more time. (I'm off to exercise.)

Cute photo of your "bad" puppy. Sorry for the rug though.

    Hugs!

  3. Bad doggy!!! But hey, look on the bright side -- now your rug matches MY dining room rug -- w/corner chewed off by naughty- puppy-not-living-here-anymore. If only the rug-chewing was the worst thing she ever did...I wish more of my house looked like yours, besides just the corners of our dining room rugs!

  4. That's a beautiful rug - it's my favorite color! How could you mad at such a cute face LOL - maybe he was bored without you there. I'm sure you can get some rug binding tape and do up that corner and no one will notice.

  5. Oh no! You must have been crushed - your poor new rug. It is beautiful - and great colors. I reminds me of mine in our family room. Well, I guess it's a story right? Your puppy is very cute though :o)
