What Works For Me Wednesday

Do you have any vinyl flooring in your house? Is it looking a little dull, not shiny, scratched up or stained? My laundry room and my garden room have this wonderful flooring product (teeny bit of sarcasm here), and this is what I have discovered to keep it beautiful, clean and shiny:
Use this Armstrong Floor Stripper and Cleaner. This gets dirt out that you didn't think was *ever* going to come out. Wipe it on, let it sit a couple minutes, then lightly scrub with a brush and wipe off with a clean rag. Then . . .

get the Armstrong floor polish. Wipe it on, let it dry. Then your floor is amazingly shiny. You'll keep going back into the room just to look at how beautiful your vinyl floor is. Now, did you ever think you would love your vinyl floor?

I buy both of these products at The Home Depot. And, here is a link to get a $2 rebate.

  7. I may have to give this a try! I hate, hate, hate our vinyl floor. Thankfully, it's only in a small area. Since the bath is so small this stuff might last a lifetime in this house...lol!

  8. I am so glad you shared this! I just mopped my white vinyl floor tonight, and feel so discouraged because it doesn't look clean even after I mop. I'm going to try this over the weekend!

  13. Look out Floors! Here I come! Thanks for the great tip, I needed it! Especially our bathroom floor, there is a semi-circle of dull haze around the sink where my daughter and I spray our hair every day -- it's gross! Hopefully this will make it all shiny again!
