Thriftin' Thursday

I stopped by my little thrift store today to see what was waiting for me, and I found this beautiful vintage dresser. I have been wanting one for quite a while, but being patient about it. What I like about this dresser is that it is narrower and taller than most. Perfect for my tiny living room. I think it will be gorgeous with a new coat of paint and some new knobs. Just look at her pretty little feet!
Also claimed was a silver serving spoon/fork, red toile plate, swag hardware . . .
3 picture frames that just need a little big of paint, a white creamer, and in the bag is a bunch of flower napkin holders which will get a good dose of paint when I get a free minute.

OH MY STARS!! I love your dresser. I am coveting your dresser right now. I love it that much. It's adorable and I don't think it needs paint at all, unless it just doesn't match your house. The yellow is cute and do I detect some chippiness? You did good, girl. Golly, I love thrifting.

Stumbled upon your blog not too long ago. De-lurking to ask a question about your Saving Money post. Could you give me some advice on how you go about choosing a mortgage broker? We're thinking about re-financing, but had just planned to go through our local credit union. I hadn't thought of using a morgage broker. I'd welcome any info you could share! Thanks!

Thrifting is the best! I've noticed however that the prices are a bit higher at my thrift stores. Enjoy your wonderful goodies.

Heather ... It is yellow and gloriously chippy. I do like the yellow, but it unfortunately won't work at all in my living room.

OH. MY. GOSH.

I love everything you got, but that dresser? To DIE for. I've been looking for one exactly like that for Noodle's room!!!! Those legs on that little beauty? Sexy. Yes....sexy.

And the salad tongs you got? LOVE THEM. I just bought a stainless pair and use them all of the time.

Hey, I just found you by way of Nesting Place. Your dresser is very cute!! You might look at Hobby Lobby for knobs. I found some vintage looking glass knobs as well as some handpainted ceramic knobs and some very Anthropologie(?) style knobs there also. At half off they are very affordable too!!
I am going to have fun going thru your archives!
