I did have these new baskets that I picked up on clearance the other day.
And I did have oil rubbed bronze spray paint from Krylon in my "paint shop."
This is the little table I picked up for a few bucks the other day. It really needs a coat of paint because it is not quite as pretty as it looks in the picture, but I don't want to cover up the chipped areas, so I might just wipe cream paint on. I'm going to think about it for a while.
By the way, love this spray paint. This is how it looks on a chandelier.
That totally rocks. I'm going through my house to see what metal fixtures I can paint.

I say this for totally selfish reasons, since I almost bought a paper maiche (sp) Z, some spray paint and some pewter-colored goldleaf the other day.
Then I put it all back because I knew I would mess it all up.

Love Chris's blog and that paint it awesome as soon as I saw it I was thinking what could I paint with it. You did a great job on the baskets too.

Thanks for visting my blog! You asked if I used primer on the metal I painted and here is my answer. Yes, and no. I used it on some of the pieces, but like a dork I forgot on my second batch. So far I haven't been able to see a difference, but only time will tell.:)
